They were all straight, white men. I was robbed the opportunity to read and indugle in literature from people who look like me. Imagine not reading  plays by queer folks? ClassroomEmcee is an art resource nonprofit dedicated to making drama literature more accesible to underpriviledged high school students. We aim to donate stageplay scripts from queer playwrights and/or playwrights of color. These playwrights are often overlooked in standard American Literature cirriculum  in high school classrooms.
